Organizations have their own safety standards and
programs; their effectiveness at minimizing risks is
dependent on behavioral compliance in the work
place. The key element to achieve safety excellence is
to establish a behavior-based safety program within
the organization. This paper discusses one Saudi
Aramco department’s journey in implementing this
program, sharing the program success criteria and
misconceptions that could be encountered in every
organization.
